Library Learning Commons
This library fully renovated in 2018 curates, manages and makes available a collection of nearly 600,000 items for Bishop’s University and Champlain College.
To support research and education at both institutions, the collection primarily covers the following topics:
• Eastern Townships history
• Natural sciences and mathematics
Free-loan access regulations
A valid ID card issued to you by Bishop’s University or Champlain College may be used as a library card. Individuals from outside the campus must visit the circulation desk to obtain a card. In addition to the duly completed form, you must present valid identification (e.g., driver’s license or health insurance card) to obtain your card.
This card must be presented during each transaction. Use of the card is reserved exclusively for its holder. Any fines resulting from lateness, loss, vandalism or theft are the responsibility of the cardholder. For security reasons, any loss or theft of your ID card must be reported to the circulation desk immediately.
Item types and loan periods
Free-loan access lets you sign out a maximum of 4 items among the following:

Lost items must be reimbursed by the user.
Materials must be returned during operating hours at the library’s circulation desk, or dropped off in the return slot located by the library.
