Experiential Science Learning
Collégial du Séminaire de Sherbrooke, Université de Sherbrooke, Bishop’s University
The purpose of this project is to pair up students who are nearing completion of the natural sciences program at the Collégial du Séminaire de Sherbrooke with university researchers in order to help prepare them for their final comprehensive examinations. The goal is to support the up-and-coming generation of scientists thanks to a mentorship enabling college students to concretely experience scientific research together with seasoned research teams.
A teacher from the Séminaire will act as the Experiential Learning Coordinator for two years in order to help forge ties between university research laboratories and to supervise the mentorships.
Isabelle Chaîné, Director of Education, Collégial du Séminaire de Sherbrooke
